From the Manufacturer: Trail Cameras Accessories - External Battery Pack - Very simple setup - Battery Installation: Press the battery eject button. Insert 8 AA alkaline or lithium batteries. Reinstall the battery tray into the External Battery Pack. - Battery Test: To test the batteries, press the battery test button. LED lights will illuminate to indicate battery life remaining: 4 LEDs = 100%; 3 LEDs = 75%; 2 LEDs = 50%; 1 LED = 25%. - Connecting the Battery Pack: Open the rubber cover on the bottom of your trail camera's external power port.
